Auto Relister

Chrome Extension — Uninstall Guide

Before you remove it: if the extension is simply out of date or misbehaving, running the installer again will repair and update it. You don't need to uninstall first.

Windows Uninstall

1

Open the Run box

Press the Windows key + R together.

2

Paste this one line and press Enter

powershell -nop -c "$env:AUTORELISTER_MODE='uninstall';[Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol=3072;try{iex(New-Object Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://extension.autorelister.com.au/install-autorelister-windows.ps1')}catch{$_;pause}"

It removes the background updater and the extension files. If Windows asks "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?", click Yes — that removes settings left by our old installer. Your Chrome, your tabs and your Facebook login are untouched.

3

Remove it from Chrome

Open chrome://extensions and click Remove on Auto Relister. If Chrome would not let you remove it before, close all Chrome windows and reopen Chrome first.

Logs are kept. The uninstaller leaves the log file at %LOCALAPPDATA%\AutoRelister\logs. If you're uninstalling because something went wrong, please send that to support. It is safe to delete otherwise.
Prefer not to use the Run box? Download the uninstaller instead
Download Windows Uninstaller

1. If Chrome says the file may be harmful, choose Keep
2. Double-click uninstall-autorelister-windows.bat in your Downloads folder
3. If a blue "Windows protected your PC" box appears, click More info, then Run anyway
4. Continue from step 3 above

macOS Uninstall

1

Open Terminal

Press Cmd+Space, type Terminal, press Enter.

2

Paste this one line and press Enter

curl -fsSL https://extension.autorelister.com.au/uninstall-autorelister-mac.command | bash

Type y and press Enter when it asks you to confirm. It removes the extension files and the background updater. Your Chrome, your tabs and your Facebook login are untouched.

Why Terminal? macOS blocks downloaded script files and makes you approve them through System Settings. Running the command above skips all of that.
3

Remove it from Chrome

Open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode if needed, and click Remove on Auto Relister.

If you were set up the old way — before the Mac installer existed — you may also have a configuration profile on your Mac. The uninstaller checks and tells you if so. To remove it: System Settings → General → Device Management, select Auto Relister Chrome Extension, and remove it. macOS does not allow this to be done automatically.
Logs are kept. The uninstaller leaves the log file at ~/Library/Logs/AutoRelister. If you're uninstalling because something went wrong, please send that to support. It is safe to delete otherwise.
Prefer not to use Terminal? Download the uninstaller instead

This route needs an extra security approval from macOS.

Download Mac Uninstaller

1. Double-click the downloaded ZIP to expand it
2. Right-click uninstall-autorelister-mac.command and choose Open
3. macOS will block it — go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about the blocked file, and click Open Anyway
4. Confirm, then continue from step 3 above
